sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6, 1946. He's the oldest son of Francesco Stallone, Sr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Sylvester was left with a paralysis on the left lower part of his face as a result of complications during birth. He has now got his iconic "snarling" expression as well as a slight slurred voice. Due to the conflicting parent-child relationship, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. They split later. Stallone studied drama at American College in Switzerland, before moving to the University of Miami. He quit school prior to having completed his studies and relocated to New York City to pursue acting as a career.
