Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born April 24, 1982, Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American artist, singer, and television personality who came to prominence as a pop star winning the popular television talent show American Idol in 2002. Clarkson was raised in Burleson (Texas) located in which is a suburb located of Fort Worth. Her vocal abilities were noticed when she was 7 years old by the teacher who taught choir at her school. Clarkson was able to leave high school and relocate towards Los Angeles where she failed to break into the world of entertainment. She was picked to participate in the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol singing competition, giving viewers the chance to choose their favorite performer. Clarkson's charismatic voice, personality and sense of humor instantly drew the attention by the viewers. She won one million dollars and she signed a recording contract with RCA.
